A very pleasant manner, listens and carefully explains possible solutions to the problem. I have had several appointments with him over the last 12 months and tried a number of remedies including bladder training with a physiotherapist. Bearing in mind my age (80) I am now on medication which enables me to lead a better life and I have avoided the need for surgery.
The examination I was given by Mr. Irving felt fully comprehensive. He listened carefully as I explained my symptoms, and gave a detailed explanation of potential diagnoses as well as what tests we needed for confirmation. I would recommend Mr. Irving unreservedly.
One note of disappointment - it has now been a week since my examination, and I have yet to be contacted by Spire regarding the tests I need to have. I heard Mr. Irving dictate the need for these tests, but there appears to be a holdup on the Spire side of things. I have emailed the practice, but have yet to be contacted.
This was my first consultation with Mr. Irving, and my experience was extremely positive. My appointment started promptly, and Mr. Irving took a great deal of time and effort to share and explain the results of my scan. Mr. Irving then walked me through a number of treatment options, providing all of the necessary detail about each procedure, including the benefits and associated risks. I did not feel rushed at any time during my consultation and was very grateful that Mr. Irving seemed happy to listen carefully and considerately to all of my questions and concerns. Mr. Irving’s response to my queries, and his advice regarding treatment, was always clear, respectful, and comprehensive. Following this initial meeting, I would not hesitate to recommend Mr. Irving and I am looking forward to an equally positive experience before, during, and after treatment.
Mr Irving has a very pleasant manner and is very communicative. He is obviously aware of all the diagnostic possibilities. He takes into account your emotional state. I left feeling very reassured.
Courteous, respectful, excellent bedside manner. Made me feel like I could trust him, projected authority/experience.
